Beatriz Pérez Zapata is a professor of Video Game History and Industry and English for Video Games and Audiovisual Media at TecnoCampus, Pompeu Fabra University. She holds a PhD in English Studies from the University of Zaragoza. Her research focuses on trauma, video games and postcolonialism, video game history, and the interconnections between video games and literature. She is a founding member of DiGRA Spain and participates in the research project Ludomythologies: Myths and ideology in contemporary video games.
