
Raquel Echeandía
UEM
Graduate in Fine Arts and PhD in Computer Science specializing in narrative design and production in independent video games, she is a professor in Video Game Design and Animation programs at the Creative Campus of UEM. She researches the intersection between traditional art, technology, and narrative, serving as Principal Investigator of the Digital Art and Design research group at UEM. She has participated in research and teaching projects at an international level, publishing articles in indexed journals and book chapters with prestigious publishers such as McGraw-Hill and Springer. With an extensive academic and creative career, her work explores how the creative processes of video game design can be enriched by the study of artistic and cultural heritage, creating more immersive level and narrative design that emotionally connects with players.
